MacarthurCook Industrial Property Fund (MIF) is an Australian REIT which listed on the ASX on 5 December 2007. MIF was originally established in December 2003 as an unlisted property trust.
The portfolio consists of 11 industrial properties across five Australian states, and is diversified by Australian tenant use and business operations. The asset allocation to Australia is 95% as at 30 June 2009.
MIF has made an investment in the Asian industrial real estate market through MacarthurCook Industrial REIT (MI-REIT), which is listed on the Singapore Exchange. The asset allocation to Asia is 5% as at 30 June 2009.
MIF will suit investors who prefer the liquidity that A-REITS offer, along with the potential for attractive total returns comprising income and capital growth.
